Overview
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Eôs ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use our mobile application and related services.
By using the Eôs app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We are committed to ensuring your data is handled with care, transparency, and respect.
Data We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide and improve the Eôs experience. This includes:
- Account information — your name and email address provided during sign-in via Google or Apple authentication.
- Goals & tasks — the goals, milestones, and tasks you create within the app, stored securely to sync across your devices.
- Usage preferences — settings such as energy level, working hours, and scheduling preferences that personalise your experience.
- Device information — basic technical data (device type, OS version) used solely to ensure compatibility and fix bugs.
We do not collect sensitive personal data, payment information, or data from your contacts or calendar beyond what you explicitly grant.
How We Use Your Data
The data we collect is used exclusively to:
- Provide the core features of the app (goal tracking, task scheduling, focus sessions).
- Sync your data securely across your devices.
- Personalise your scheduling experience based on your preferences.
- Diagnose technical issues and improve app stability.
- Send you important service notifications (e.g. significant updates or policy changes).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Firebase & Infrastructure
Eôs uses Google Firebase as its backend infrastructure. Firebase provides authentication, database (Firestore), and cloud storage services. Your data is stored in Firebase data centres, subject to Google's data processing agreements and security standards.
Firebase processes data in accordance with the Google Firebase Privacy Policy. We have configured Firebase to store your data in the European Union (EU) region where possible.
Third-Party Services
The app may integrate with third-party services to enhance functionality:
- Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — used for secure authentication. We only receive your name and email address from these providers.
- Google Calendar — optionally, you may connect your Google Calendar. We access only your calendar events to schedule tasks around existing commitments. We do not store or share your calendar data.
- Google Gemini AI — we use the Gemini API to generate task suggestions and goal breakdowns. Prompts sent to this API may include your goal titles and descriptions. We do not send identifiable personal information to the AI.
These third-party services have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them independently.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, all associated personal data and content will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below.
